About The Role & Who We’re Scouting
We’re on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to join our squad at Leicester City Football Club. As Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in assisting the Executive Housekeeper with planning, organizing, and supervising cleaning operations at the Training Ground Facility; assuring the highest degree of cleaning and customer care is always delivered.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising the day-to-day activities of the internal & external cleaning teams whilst working within the Housekeeping Department, ensuring a quality driven cleaning regime and a high degree of cleanliness is maintained in all areas of the Training Ground facility.
- Liaising with other operations departments to ensure a smooth running of day-to-day cleaning.
- Taking responsibility for the Housekeeping Department, including a quality driven cleaning regime of all offices, washrooms/toilets, Hydrotherapy areas, changing rooms, external areas, and associated car parks, delivering a pristine cleaning service.
- Carrying out general cleaning duties including mopping, sweeping, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, emptying bins and removing waste along with any other duties requested by Operations/Housekeeping management.
- Promoting the maintenance of a safe environment.
- Delivering instruction, information, and training to all housekeeping operatives ensuring safety in the workplace is effectively maintained.
- Monitoring and checking works completed by the housekeeping operatives.
- Reporting any issues regarding performance, staff, and attendance to the Executive Housekeeper.
- Being responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Housekeeping department in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper, ensuring high level standards of cleanliness are maintained.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in Housekeeping and specifically bring:
- Previous experience within a similar supervisory role.
- Previous experience of working with external contractors.
- Excellent cleaning skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrates honesty, integrity, reliability, and the ability to ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Be friendly, well organized with the ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure.
- Communication skills to the highest level, listening, interpreting and conveying information in a clear and accurate manner, providing timely delivery of information and selecting the most appropriate method of communication.
