We’re on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Academy Therapist to join our squad at Leicester City Football Club on a Casual basis. As a Casual Academy Therapist, you’ll play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of leading-edge physiotherapy services to the Youth (YDP) and Foundation Development Phase (FDP) Programmes through the provision of therapy services on weekday evenings and weekends.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the YDP/FDP therapists by providing pitch side cover for training and games.
- Ensuring medical notes are kept up to date and completed in line with registering body requirements and EPPP regulations.
- Supporting the assessment, treatment and management of injured FDP & YDP players in the clinic environment.
- Providing updates on player injury/illness status as requested by the Lead YDP/FDP Physiotherapist.
- Providing ITMMiF cover in line with EPPP regulations as directed by the Lead YDP/FDP Physiotherapist.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in professional football. A BSc (Hons) Degree in Physiotherapy or Sports Therapy is essential, as well as HCPC/CSP/SST registration and qualification in FA Immediate Trauma Medical Management in Football (ITMMiF) qualification or equivalent. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
