Position Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and driven scout to join our national recruitment network and play a vital role in identifying top talent across the country. The role requires scouting a specific region (West Sussex) and, on occasions, attending the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre in Lancing.
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess emerging football talent within the assigned region.
- Attend matches in the evenings and on weekends to scout players.
- Utilise modern scouting databases and digital tools to track, assess, and report on potential talent.
- Maintain accurate records of match observations and player evaluations.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to discuss potential signings.
- Represent the club professionally at all scouting engagements.
Qualifications
- Strong eye for emerging talent with a deep understanding of youth football development.
- Well‑established network within the football community.
- Knowledge of rules and regulations governing player recruitment.
- Proficiency in using modern scouting databases and digital tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
