The Role

A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Safeguarding Officer to join us at Burnley Football Club. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Club’s ongoing development and helping us deliver a first‑class experience for players, staff, and supporters.

About You

Are you passionate about football and looking for your next challenge in the game? The Safeguarding Officer will act as the first point of contact for safeguarding concerns within the Women’s Football Department.

Ideal Candidate

  • Professional safeguarding qualification or strong experience within safeguarding.
  • Flexible approach to work and ability to work evenings and weekends.

Role Expectations

  • Provide front‑line safeguarding support, advice, and coordination, ensuring all concerns are appropriately recorded, escalated, and managed in line with club safeguarding policies and statutory guidance.
