At KIBOU, we’re looking for an exceptional Senior Sushi Chef to be part of the opening of a new restaurant in the heart of Birmingham City Centre! KIBOU is an independent Japanese restaurant and bar with restaurants in Battersea, Cheltenham, Bristol, Solihull, Oxford and Cambridge. We offer an extensive menu showcasing a variety of Japanese cuisine, served from a Sushi and Hot Food kitchen. The environments we create are stylish and fun, and our primary focus is on growing a team of people who take pride in delivering a truly standout experience.

We’re looking for:

  • Sushi experience is essential; we’ll provide comprehensive training and may consider candidates with more limited sushi skills as long as you’ve spent time in a sushi kitchen.
  • Someone keen to perfect their skills, is reliable and possesses a strong work ethic.
  • A friendly personality and ability to work in a strong and highly motivated team are essential.
