At KIBOU Restaurants, we're looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to join our team and our exciting new opening this summer in Central Birmingham! Planned to open in the summer of 2026 in the centre of Birmingham's Business District, as an opening Deputy Manager, you'll support the General Manager in all aspects of project management leading up to the opening, including input into the design and layout of the restaurant. You'll also recruit and develop a team capable of executing a top-rate restaurant opening, with the freedom to create a unique team culture from day one.

We are looking for leaders who can work with high levels of autonomy, are self-motivated with a drive to achieve excellence in all tasks that they undertake. An extensive track record of delivering results through operational excellence is required, coupled with the capability to function in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. KIBOU is an independent Japanese restaurant and bar with restaurants in Battersea, Cheltenham, Bristol, Solihull, Oxford and Cambridge. We offer an extensive menu showcasing a variety of Japanese cuisine, served from a Sushi and Hot Food kitchen. The environments we create are stylish and fun, and our primary focus is on growing a team of people who take pride in delivering a truly standout experience.
