Kiani Architects is hiring an experienced Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
Kiani Architects is a London-based studio working across the workplace, residential and student accommodation sectors, and we are looking for a Part 2 architectural assistant/non-ARB architect to join our team.
We work closely with clients, contractors, manufacturers and suppliers to create buildings that are detailed, thoughtful and unique.
- You’ll be joining us at an exciting moment, with current projects including:
- a seven‑storey commercial development in Clerkenwell nearing completion
- a large commercial refurbishment, also in Clerkenwell
- a retention, refurbishment and new‑build scheme in Greenwich
- a mixed‑use contemporary industrial development in North London
You’ll work closely with the director and project architect across all RIBA stages, with immediate involvement in developing Stage 3 designs into Stage 4.
You’ll support the team and gain valuable Part 3 experience and be fully supported.
You’ll gain full exposure to projects, real responsibility and meaningful input into design decisions from day one.
We’re looking for someone who
- proficiency in Auto CAD and Revit
- fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Office 365
- experience using Enscape and 3DS Max desirable, but not essential – we are Windows-based
- excellent verbal and written English communication and presentation skills
- excellent design skills including hand sketching, visualisation and physical modelling and 3D printing.
- good technical knowledge and experience in coordinating SMEP
- sound knowledge of UK planning and building regulations
- ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team
- self-motivated and able to take responsibility
- thirst for continual improvement and learning
