The Network Development Executive plays an important role in shaping and strengthening the Kia Dealer network across both Passenger Cars and Commercial Vehicles (PBVs). Working closely with internal colleagues, Dealer partners and external suppliers, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of activities that support the continued growth and development of the network.
This is a varied and commercially focused role, involving the review and analysis of Dealer performance and market data to provide insights and recommendations that support effective decision‑making. The successful candidate will also coordinate Dealer appointment and termination processes, support departmental reporting, and act as a key point of contact between suppliers and Dealer partners, helping to ensure strong relationships and smooth delivery across the network.
Responsibilities- Responsibility for Dealer appointments and termination processes; acting as a main point of contact between the Dealer, other Kia UK (KUK) departments and key suppliers.
- Take a lead role in the implementation of Corporate Identity programmes across the Kia Passenger Car network and PBV Centre network, acting as a main point of contact between Dealer partners and suppliers.
- Working closely with the Network Development team to support the ongoing development of the network representation plan.
- Reviewing geographic areas to highlight business opportunities and impact on existing Dealer representation.
- Reporting and evaluation of Dealer network performance using operational and financial key performance indicators for management review.
- Monitoring Dealer achievement to brand standards, and follow up actions where shortfalls are identified.
- Dealer visits to assist with the achievement of business objectives and to support personal development.
- Creation and processing of business proposals as required by the Network Development team.
- Report the results of the business across the company and Kia Europe / Kia HQ within specified deadlines.
- Development and maintenance of the Network Development database.
- Support Network Development Operations Manager on new projects.
- Ad‑hoc reports to the management of Kia UK as required.
- Excellent Excel skills for spreadsheets and analysis.
- Excellent general IT skills including PowerPoint, Word, Co‑Pilot.
- Excellent organisational, project and time‑management skills.
