Bolton Kia have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our Service team. Working in a team of 12 Vehicle Technicians, the ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of vehicles, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
  • Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and provide detailed reports on findings.
  • Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot issues.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standards.
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician.
  • Valid UK driver's license is essential.
  • Level 3 Light Vehicle Technician Qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
