Purpose of Role

  • To support the KUK dealer network in booking/completing training requirements for product, sales and aftersales as outlined in the Kia Accelerate training programme.
  • Ensure LMS is correctly updated with dealer details and course schedules.
  • Work with Systems Training Assistant Manager to maintain functionality, accuracy, and integrity of Kia Academy (website) content.

Main Responsibilities

  • Action and respond to Kia UK Academy mailbox enquiries within the agreed parameters. Work to agreed time thresholds for incident(s), request(s), and problem(s). Contribute to Learning Management System (LMS) policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Maintain and monitor existing Kia Academy website content and functionality as well as assist in uploading and testing new eLearning modules, assessments, dashboards and any downloadable material, supporting the ongoing development of the Kia Academy user experience.
  • Support the Kia Academy website by troubleshooting reported problems, diagnose hardware/software issues, trend analysis and problem management.
  • Support with Quarterly dealer training standards compliance, monthly dealer training levy, monthly KPI reporting, Kia Academy mailbox/chat and telephone enquiries, maintaining the Kia Academy website data including: Dealer Staff Data and Course Data ensuring data accuracy and integrity, course scheduling ensuring that training programmes are run at optimum attendance levels.
  • Support with the creation & testing of bespoke reports/functionality/features as required by the Kia Academy team, Kia Europe and Kia HQ. Ensure integration and alignment with other systems as required.
  • Engage Kia UK internal staff with the training available on the Kia Academy website and ensure internal staff lists are maintained and updated.
  • Assist the Kia Academy Non Technical Training and Systems Manager with administration of the Kia Academy budget, raising and providing suppliers with payments via SAP.
  • Carry out 1:1 training for new dealers/users via Teams as required to cover Academy Curricula, Introduction to Academy Online and e-learning.
  • Monitor all data contained on the LMS, including Dealer Staff Data, Dealers (Terminations and Appointments) and Course Data. Ensure compliance with GDPR and any future data regulations.
  • Support the Academy team on all other relevant activities as communicated by the Academy Manager.

  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Familiarization with Learning Management Systems.

The Kia UK Head Office is based in Walton-on-Thames, just a 5 minute walk from the station. We also have plenty of on-site parking for drivers, including EV charging ports.
