The Role

This role is responsible for the efficient processing of payroll and reporting along with generalist HR admin support, including invoice processing, maintenance of data across our systems, benefits, recruitment support, employee records management, onboarding/offboarding. This role is crucial to maintaining the smooth functioning of the People & Organisation department and delivering excellent internal service to staff.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems and personnel files.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records with third party benefit providers.
  • Own the collation and submission of payroll data to ADP on a monthly basis.
  • Processing of all People & Organisation team invoices using SAP.
  • Prepare onboarding materials and support facilitation of the new hire onboarding process.
  • Assist with employee offboarding and keeping record and systems updated.
  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Assist in the preparation of HR reports, metrics, and documentation.
  • Coordinate and support with training and development programs.
  • Support the team with organising training and tracking completion.
  • Support the team with employee engagement initiatives and events.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, reporting and document preparation.
  • Support the recruitment process where required, including posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates.
  • Support and assist the wider team with various projects and initiatives as required.

About You

  • Excellent Excel skills for spreadsheets and analysis.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good general IT skills including PowerPoint, Word.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work with others to ensure the achievement of objectives.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for providing great employee experience.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Working towards a recognized HR qualification eg. CIPD (Desirable but not essential).
  • Knowledge and experience of HR and Finance systems eg. Workday, SAP (Desirable but not essential).

Location/Travel

The Kia UK Head Office is based in Walton-on-Thames, just a 5-minute walk from the station. We also have plenty of on-site parking for drivers, including EV charging ports.
