The Role
Bolton Kia has an exciting opportunity for a Warranty Administrator, responsible for managing and processing warranty claims, ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards and in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensuring accurate submissions of warranty and goodwill claims daily, while maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Main duties and responsibilities
- Claims Processing – Review, validate and submit warranty claims including supporting documents ensuring all documentation are compliant with company and manufacturer guidelines. Monitor the status of submitted claims, liaising with manufacturers on any outstanding issues.
- Documentation – Maintain organised records of all warranty transactions, including the issue of credit notes and all other associated paperwork for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Communication – Communicate effectively with Service Advisors, Technicians and Parts to resolve issues effectively and provide guidance regarding warranty procedures. Provide regular reports on warranty claim status and performance metrics to management. Build good relationships across the wider teams to create a supportive and cohesive working environment.
- Compliance and Policy Adherence – Stay up to date on recalls and manufacturer guidelines ensuring all claims comply with company and manufacture standards.
- Financial reconciliation – Reconcile warranty receivables with payments, post credits and coordinate with Accounts to ensure payments are received.
- Admin Support – Perform admin duties as required including answering calls and supporting other teams within the department.

- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in using computer systems and warranty software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
