The Role
This is a new role with potential for growth. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and presenting monthly financial accounts.
- Managing intercompany and related party transactions per IAS 24.
- Preparing annual financial statements in accordance with FRS 101.
- Serving as the SPOC for Government Statistics with ONS.
- Reconciliation of management and financial accounts.
- Preparing risk controls for K-SOX compliance monthly, quarterly, and annually.
- Aligning IFRS standards with business practices.
- Managing balance sheet integrity.
- Measuring KPIs regularly.
- Staying updated on legislative and reporting standards and applying them.
About You
Candidates should ideally have:
- A business degree or equivalent.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, CIMA, or ACCA.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
- Data analysis skills.
- Critical thinking and strong communication skills.
- Adaptability and proven collaboration with auditors and advisors.
- Strong understanding of financial systems, processes, and regulations.
