What will you do
The Brand Communications Assistant provides support to the Brand Communication team and facilitates the smooth operation of the department, contributing to the long-term growth of the business.
Responsibilities include:
- Act as the central point of contact for the Brand Communications team, being the first port of call for other departments and our agency partners.
- Contribute to the creation of national and dealer marketing communication materials including TV, radio, cinema, outdoor, digital, social, POS (and much more).
- Support the Brand Communications Manager and Marketing Executive in new model launch campaigns and quarterly sales programmes.
- Lead on performance reporting, gathering results and insights from relevant stakeholders to supply to senior leadership and the wider global organisation.
- Assist with managing large budgets, reconciling against marketing activity.
- Liaise with other marketing teams (such as Web, CRM, Events, Fleet and Product), as well as various agencies to ensure consistency of process and clear outputs.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be:
- Studying a relevant degree (e.g. a Business or Marketing related subject)
- Able to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Passionate and hard-working, open to developing knowledge and skills.
- Proactive, taking the initiative to develop fresh approaches and new solutions.

- A high level of attention to detail.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisation skills.

The Location
The Kia UK Head Office is based in Walton-on-Thames, just a 5 minute walk from the station. We also have plenty of on-site parking for drivers, including EV charging ports.
