What you’ll be doing
- Act as technical specialist for the group Wordings team and the wider business in respect of insurance contracting and wordings issues.
- Assist in the development of the wordings strategy in conjunction with the group Wordings team and underwriting teams, including property, casualty, financial/professional liability, marine/energy, contingency, and personal accident lines of business.
- Design and maintain information management tools in support of the wordings strategy as required.
- Keep up to date on emerging risks and regulatory developments impacting insurance contracting and wordings.
- Represent Brit as requested on relevant market bodies and enable Brit to demonstrate to peers and clients market-leading expertise in wordings.
- Have decision-making responsibilities in line with position with escalation of any significant issues outside of remit or authority level and apply expert knowledge to solve complex problems.
