What you’ll be doing

  1. Act as technical specialist for the group Wordings team and the wider business in respect of insurance contracting and wordings issues.
  2. Assist in the development of the wordings strategy in conjunction with the group Wordings team and underwriting teams, including property, casualty, financial/professional liability, marine/energy, contingency, and personal accident lines of business.
  3. Design and maintain information management tools in support of the wordings strategy as required.
  4. Keep up to date on emerging risks and regulatory developments impacting insurance contracting and wordings.
  5. Represent Brit as requested on relevant market bodies and enable Brit to demonstrate to peers and clients market-leading expertise in wordings.
  6. Have decision-making responsibilities in line with position with escalation of any significant issues outside of remit or authority level and apply expert knowledge to solve complex problems.

The closest train/underground/DLR links are: Liverpool Street Station (7 mins), Bank Station (6 mins), Fenchurch Street Station (6 mins), Aldgate Station (7 mins). The nearest bus stop is St Mary Axe (Stop LR or Z), which is located just outside the building.
