We're looking for a Senior Analyst (Research & Development) in our Risk Aggregation team. At Brit, we believe that the uncertainty of the future should never stand in the way of progress. We are change-makers enabled by a global workforce who collaborate to deliver a risk service.
As Senior Analyst, you'll help us keep developing the way Brit understands and manages catastrophe risk. You'll work closely with the Head of Risk Aggregation and the Research & Development team to support technology that helps our commercial teams make informed decisions, while strengthening the tools, systems and analytics that underpin our view of risk.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the ongoing development of our internal and external risk aggregation tools.
- Bringing strong technical capability across areas such as full stack development, Azure services, databases, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code and version control.
- Shaping analytical reporting and supporting improvements to best practice processes.
- Providing subject matter expertise across wider Risk and Actuarial projects.
With a good understanding of quantitative analysis, catastrophe modelling concepts and the Lloyd's or London Market environment, you'll bring a positive, flexible approach and the ability to prioritise effectively, communicate clearly and keep developing your own technical and professional skills.
