What you’ll be doing:
- Support the Head of Pricing in developing and recalibrating pricing algorithms across all classes, ensuring continuous feedback and improvements.
- Communicate key insights and recommendations from pricing algorithm reviews to stakeholders, including underwriters and actuarial SMEs.
- Ensure thorough reviews, challenges, and documentation of all analytical work.
- Work with other pricing actuaries and analysts, collaborating with various group functions to deploy models efficiently into different pricing software platforms.
- Investigate new ways to add value to pricing analyses and support the implementation alongside other teams.
- Assist the Actuarial Analytical Engineering team in developing tools to enhance the value and efficiency of the pricing model review process.
- Support the Head of Pricing in ad hoc projects as needed and be a key contributor to bi-weekly actuarial pricing meetings.
- Develop a strong understanding of each line of business written within the relevant business units, ensuring your expertise adds value across the board.
