We are looking for an Enterprise Risk Management Analyst.
At Brit, we believe that the uncertainty of the future should never stand in the way of progress. That’s why we exist: to help people and businesses face the future and thrive. We are change-makers enabled by a global workforce who collaborate to deliver a risk service. A team empowered to help our customers not only to survive the risks they face, but to stay on the front foot and keep moving forward.
In this role, you’ll work closely with your fellow team members to maintain and develop models that address risks in areas such as investment, underwriting, reserving, credit, and emerging sectors. You’ll also evaluate the impact of new and emerging risks—ranging from climate change and pandemics to geopolitical tensions, inflation, and broader macroeconomic challenges—and carry out scenario analyses to quantify these key risks.
You’ll maintain and further develop elements of our risk appetite framework, ensuring it accurately reflects our operating environment. In addition, you’ll prepare detailed risk reporting for various committees, including presentations to senior management and the Board, while also developing advanced visualization and automation capabilities to enhance this process.
An important part of your role will involve reviewing and validating assumptions used in our internal capital models, as well as preparing elements of validation and risk reporting documentation. Your analytical insights will support strategic decision-making, such as evaluating reinsurance purchasing options, and you’ll be expected to build a detailed understanding of enterprise risk management practices.
Additionally, you’ll establish and maintain strong working relationships across the Risk function and collaborate with departments such as actuarial, claims, and underwriting to ensure a comprehensive approach to risk management.
We welcome everyone wholeheartedly. We’ve got a truly diverse, genuinely inclusive work environment. We comfortably and confidently bring our whole selves to work, because we know we’ll be respected, valued and accepted whoever we are. Our Employee Resource groups are safe spaces for people to share their experiences, aspirations and suggestions about how we do things.
Accessibility: We are located in the Leadenhall Building on Leadenhall Street (EC3V 4AB) and are situated on floors 17, 18, and 39. All of our floors are accessible by lift, and there are building staff on hand to point you in the right direction. The closest train / underground / DLR links are: Liverpool Street Station (7 mins).
