What you’ll be doing
As a Claims Specialist in the Reinsurance team, you’ll take the lead on some of our most complex and high‑value claims, using your expertise to make confident decisions and guide cases through to the right outcomes. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Claims, sharing insights and offering support so that we handle every claim with the clarity, care and technical strength Brit is known for. As part of this, you’ll build strong partnerships with teams across the business, from Underwriting to Actuarial, ensuring that insights are shared and issues are quickly spotted and addressed. You’ll bring sound judgement, forward thinking and a collaborative mindset, helping us stay ahead of emerging trends and challenges in the market. You’ll also act as a trusted technical advisor, offering guidance to colleagues and supporting the development of junior team members as they grow their expertise.
