We’re looking for a Business Partner Analyst – Underwriting Finance. You will play a key role at the heart of our Finance and Underwriting teams, supporting our business partners who act as the key link between these two areas.
About Brit: At Brit, we believe that the uncertainty of the future should never stand in the way of progress. That’s why we exist – to help people and businesses face the future and thrive. We’re change‑makers enabled by a global workforce who collaborate to deliver a risk service. A team empowered to help our customers not only survive the risks they face but stay on the front foot and keep moving forward. We believe the uncertainty of tomorrow isn’t something to fear but to seize; it’s full of potential. Not only for our customers but for our employees too.
What you’ll be doing: You’ll be right at the heart of our Finance and Underwriting teams, supporting our business partners who act as the key link between these two areas. Think of yourself as the person who helps turn data into insight. You’ll be analysing, developing and maintaining management information that shows how our underwriting business is performing. Your role will cover the full financial lifecycle from planning and forecasting to analysing actual performance and helping us improve our data capabilities. You’ll be working closely with underwriters, portfolio managers and other teams like Actuarial and Risk, ensuring we’ve got the right information to challenge and improve performance. You’ll get stuck into creating dashboards in Power BI, building models in Excel and making sure our data is accurate and consistent. You’ll help produce reports for internal and external stakeholders, and you’ll be ready to jump in on ad‑hoc projects when needed. If you love digging into data, spotting trends and turning numbers into stories, this is the role for you.
We welcome everyone wholeheartedly: We’ve got a truly diverse, genuinely inclusive work environment. We comfortably and confidently bring our whole selves to work because we know we’ll be respected, valued and accepted whatever we are. Our Employee Resource Groups are safe spaces for people to share their experiences, aspirations and suggestions about how we do things.
Accessibility: We’re based in the Leadenhall Building on Leadenhall Street (EC3V 4AB) across floors 17, 18 and 39. All our floors are accessible by lift, and building staff are on hand to point you in the right direction. The closest train and underground links are Liverpool Street Station (7 mins), Bank Station (6 mins), Fenchurch Street Station (6 mins) and Aldgate Station (7 mins). The nearest bus stop is St Mary Axe (Stop LR or Z), right outside the building. If you have any other questions regarding accessibility, just ask.
