DevOps Engineer

Salary: 50 -60k

Khuda Technology has partnered with an international Managed Service Provider to find a talented DevOps Engineer with experience in Azure cloud services. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a strong background in DevOps practices, particularly within the Azure ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Implementation, and management of Azure-based cloud infrastructure.
• Utilise Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) deployments, ensuring scalable and reliable environments.
• Develop and maintain automation playbooks using Ansible; experience with Ansible Tower or Ansible Automation Platform is highly desirable.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with a focus on Azure DevOps, ensuring seamless integration and delivery processes.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to align cloud strategies with business goals, following the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure.
• Maintain and administer Azure DevOps Pipelines and manage repositories in GitHub.
• Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and best practices to support ongoing operations and future scalability.
• Continuously evaluate and integrate new DevOps tools and practices to enhance efficiency and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

Skills

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Azure cloud services.
• Azure Fundamentals certification is required; Azure DevOps certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in Terraform, particularly with AZ-TFmod experience.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible for automation, with a preference for experience with Ansible Tower or Ansible Automation Platform.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes, tools, and best practices, especially within Azure DevOps environments.
• Working knowledge of GitHub and experience managing repositories.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively in a challenging environment.
• Good documentation skills to ensure clarity and consistency in infrastructure and process documentation.
