Daily Head Housekeeper - Belgravia, London

We are looking to hire a Daily Permanent Head Housekeeper to work for private family living in large London townhouse based in Belgravia. Occasional travel to another property based outside of London.

Paying £70,000 gross per annum. Required to work Monday to Friday, on a rota basis, covering either an early shift or late shift:

8am – 4.30pm or 12.30pm to 9pm.

All Head Housekeepers applying must be flexible to work occasional weekends/extended hours when required. Family often abroad when hours will revert to an early shift.

We are seeking a highly experienced, professional, pro-active Head Housekeeper to support a UHNW family with the meticulous attention to detail, responsible for the smooth running of their London home.

This is a dynamic and varied role, ideally suitable for a discreet Head Housekeeper with a proven track record, having done a similar role before. Excellent written references a must!

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing 2 other housekeepers, managing and working alongside them in London

• Coordinating daily with the family\’s Property Manager regarding schedules & staffing needs

across both homes.

• Perform hands-on housekeeping, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, packing/unpacking and

wardrobe management.

• Responsible for house card, overseeing all monthly expenses, reporting to Property Manager.

• Purchasing and deliver of all groceries and household provisions to both London & other

property

• Light flower arranging for informal displays.

• Run ad-hoc errands as required.

• FOH duties, welcoming all guests, receive parcels, supervise all contractors and service staff.

• Coordinate with the chef regarding menus and the household rota; assist with table serving,

clearing, and light service.

Ideal suitable for a Head Housekeeper with:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a high-end private household.

• Exceptional high standards of housekeeping, with the ability to train and supervise junior

housekeeping staff.

• Excellent communication skill, fluent in English

• A proactive, trustworthy, discreet nature.

• Flexibility to travel between properties and adjust working hours based on the family\’s needs.

• Strong knowledge of London and its suppliers/vendors.

• Ideally a full, clean UK driver\’s licence and own reliable transport (travel costs reimbursed).

• 3 years + of Head Housekeeping experience

• Willingness to respond to occasional out-of-hours requests.
