Salary: £24,000-26,000 dependent on experience + benefits.

8:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday, 8:00 – 16:30 Friday, and every other Friday 12:30 – finish.

Responsibilities
  • Repair and servicing of electronic devices, including bar‑code readers, PPS (point of sale) devices, monitors, computers and chip‑and‑pin (payment) devices.
  • Managing spare parts usage using our IT database system.
  • Testing units to meet quality control procedures.
  • Co‑operation with logistics and production support departments.
Requirements
  • Broadly understood knowledge in the field of electronics, fundamentals of building computers and electronic devices.
  • Basic knowledge of computer science.
  • Additional advantage: education in electronics / electrotechnics and experience in electronics repair and maintenance.
Personal Skills
  • Aptitude for working with small hand tools/soldering and an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and achieve high‑quality standards.
  • Competent with working alone on computers, including using specialist manufacturer calibration programs (training provided).
  • Knowledge of taking apart and working with computers, mobiles or electrical devices.
