We are currently working with a leading FMCG business based in Paddock Wood.
Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking a QC Analyst to join their established team.
The QC Analyst will be responsible for ensuring product quality and adherence to ISO accreditations and internal Quality Management Systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Analysis of raw materials using appropriate analytical techniques (HPLC, GC-MS, UV/VIS).
- Maintaining laboratory analytical equipment (GC-MS, HPLC, Refractometer, Densitometer, pH meter).
- Testing raw materials and finished goods for product release.
- Investigating non-conforming samples and OOS, reporting results promptly.
- Documenting analysis results and sample receipts.
- Managing finished product releases according to company procedures.
- Recording and trending analysis results of incoming goods.
- Performing routine calibration and daily checks of instruments.
- Reporting equipment faults and maintaining maintenance logs.
- Keeping analytical equipment files up to date.
- Maintaining training records for laboratory, regulatory, and safety compliance.
- Managing stock levels of laboratory chemicals and consumables.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, reporting hazards.
Skills & Abilities:
- Enthusiastic, hardworking, with a focus on quality service.

- High attention to detail, able to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong IT skills.
- Degree in a science discipline (preferably Chemistry), or relevant experience.
- Knowledge of GMP and food safety standards (FSSC22000, BRC).
