We're looking for a motivated CNC professional to join an established manufacturing team, producing high-quality precision components.

The Role Working within our busy toolroom, you'll be responsible for machining precision components used for tooling and customer projects.
Every day offers something different, with a variety of bespoke and small-batch work.
Your responsibilities will include: - Operating CNC lathes and milling machines to manufacture precision components. - Producing complex, low-volume parts to exacting quality standards. - Working from detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications. - Collaborating with colleagues to support tooling, fixtures and production requirements. - Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and safety. - Helping to ensure customer deadlines are achieved.
About You To be successful, you'll ideally have: - At least two years' experience within a CNC machining environment. - Experience producing small batches of precision-engineered components. - The ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings. - Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. - A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable Skills It would be advantageous if you also have experience with: - LEAN or 5S manufacturing principles. - CAD/CAM programming software. - Designing or manufacturing machine fixtures and jigs. - Sliding head lathes. - Working within an ISO 9001 quality management environment.
