KHR is partnering with a leading international manufacturing organisation to recruit a skilled Mechanical Technician to join their Engineering Maintenance team on a full-time permanent basis. As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining the reliability, efficiency, and safety of critical production equipment across the site. Working within a highly skilled engineering team, you will undertake preventative maintenance, fault finding, breakdown response, and equipment improvement activities to maximise plant performance and minimise downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and corrective maintenance activities across site equipment
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and implement effective repairs
  • Diagnose faults on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Complete work orders accurately, recording time, defects, and spare parts used through SAP PM
  • Support planned shutdowns and maintenance projects
  • Identify opportunities for equipment improvements, modifications, and upgrades
  • Conduct risk assessments and follow safe systems of work
