My client, a well-established and successful manufacturing business, is looking to recruit an experienced Customer Services Account Manager to join their busy Customer Service/Internal Sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in B2B customer service/account management, ideally gained within a manufacturing, engineering or technical environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and building strong client relationships.
  • Processing customer enquiries, quotations and purchase orders.
  • Liaising with planning, production, engineering and sales teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Providing regular updates to customers regarding order progress and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinating customer feedback, complaints and returns.
  • Working with ERP/CRM systems to ensure accurate order processing.
  • Supporting the Customer Services Manager and deputising when required.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a Customer Services Account Manager or Senior Customer Service role.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or technical environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and ERP/CRM systems.
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach and excellent attention to detail.
