Our client is a family-run leading manufacturer who is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their business. If you have experience as a CNC Machinist and are looking for a company that will value you, then this is the role for you!
CNC Machinist role:
- The candidate will work within our tool-room department operating our CNC-controlled lathes & 2 mills to generate components required for tooling or directly by our customers.
- Most components are designed in-house and will require the successful candidate to use the 3D model to generate the machining code within Inventor CAM software, which feeds directly into the machines.
- You will also in collaboration with our design department aid in the design of any fixturing or jigs that may be required to allow the machining of the components.
Candidate Profile:
- Min 2 years experience operating or programming CNC machines.
- Have experience with controllers.
- Design and manufacture of machine fixturing.
- Produce small, complex batches of components to high-quality standards.
- Some experience working from engineering drawings.
- Ability to work within a team to ensure deadlines are met.
- Experience with sliding head lathes would be advantageous.
- Be a team player and be able to work to tight deadlines.
