?IT Support Engineer (Help Desk)
Location: West Malling
Rate: £25.00 - £30.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Duration: 2-3 Month Temporary Contract
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday (shift rota between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm)
Are you an experienced IT Support Engineer looking for your next contract opportunity? We're recruiting for a hands-on Help Desk professional to join a busy IT team, providing first and second line technical support across a varied desktop environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working directly with users, and getting involved in a broad range of desktop support, hardware deployment and Microsoft technologies.
What you'll be doing
- Providing first and second line IT support via the help desk.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and networking issues.
- Logging, prioritising and managing support tickets through to resolution.
- Installing and configuring PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices and peripherals.
- Supporting Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams and Intune environments.
- Providing remote support to end users.
- Assisting with desktop builds, imaging and device deployments.
- Supporting basic networking, server administration and security tasks where required.
