As part of our recruitment drive, we are currently looking for an experienced Part 2 / Part 3 with strong capability across both planning and technical design to join our team in our Eltham studio. We offer the opportunity to be part of a collaborative practice delivering high-quality residential projects across London and the South East. This is a key role within the practice, suited to someone confident taking ownership of projects from initial briefing through to delivery, working closely with clients, consultants and local authorities. You will be trusted with responsibility and autonomy, while being supported by a close-knit and collaborative team.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading residential projects from concept through to technical delivery
- Preparing and managing planning applications, including supporting statements and design justification
- Producing high-quality design and technical drawings
- Coordinating consultants and responding to technical input
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients on assigned projects
- Managing projects against agreed programmes and budgets
- Supporting junior team members where required
About you:
- Part 2 qualified or recently qualified Part 3
- Strong experience in UK residential projects
- Confident working across both planning and technical stages
- Able to manage projects with minimal supervision
- Clear and professional communicator, both written and verbal
- Organised, proactive and comfortable taking responsibility
Essential skills:
- Good working knowledge of the UK planning system
- Strong technical understanding of residential construction
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience welcome if applicable)
- Experience liaising directly with clients, consultants and local authorities
