We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to ensure the cleanliness and hygienic appearance of the kitchen, cleaning all equipment according to the cleaning schedule. You will also assist the Cook when necessary in preparing vegetables during busy periods.

Duties and Responsibilities:- Assist the cook in the preparation of vegetables and during busy periods where necessary.
- Clean the cooker, oven hot plate, Bain Maries, and all other equipment including fridges and freezers as per the cleaning schedule.
- Follow the cleaning schedule as directed by the Head Cook.
- Handle waste bags in accordance with health & safety and infection control procedures.
- Keep tea trolleys and trays clean at all times.
- Maintain the dishwasher to the required standard as per cleaning schedules.
- Must hold a Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or above.
