We're looking for an enthusiastic
Commis Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team.
This is a hands‑on entry‑level role and a fantastic opportunity to learn authentic Thai cooking from the ground up, build strong foundations in a professional kitchen, and grow with us toward Demi Chef de Partie and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, stock and maintain your assigned station before and during service.
- Prepare our core dishes to recipe under the guidance of senior chefs – khao soi soup and toppings, gub glams, and desserts.
- Follow all food safety, personal hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times.
- Practise correct storage, labelling, dating and FIFO stock rotation.
- Keep your station clean and organised throughout service (‘clean as you go’).
- Support the CDP, Sous Chef and Head Chef with prep and daily kitchen operations.
- Help monitor portion and waste control to protect food margins.
- Learn our recipes and standards, taking on more responsibility as you develop.

Requirements
- Some kitchen experience preferred, but attitude and willingness to learn matter most.
- A culinary qualification is an advantage, not essential.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene (Level 2 certificate desirable, or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to stay calm and work cleanly under pressure as part of a team.
- Good communication, reliability and strong timekeeping.
- Genuine passion for food and eagerness to learn Thai / Asian cuisine.
