Role: Social Media and Content Assistant
Department: Social Media / Marketing
Reporting To: Head of Creative and Socials
Days / Hours: Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly creative, driven, and fashion-savvy Social Media and Content Assistant to join our ever growing, luxury fashion brand. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the luxury fashion industry, an eye for high-end aesthetics, and a passion for engaging audiences through strategic social media campaigns. This role requires a blend of creativity and data-driven insights to elevate our brand presence, foster engagement with our target audience, and enhance customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Strategy & Content Creation:
- Collaborate with the Head of Creative team to develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with brand objectives and resonates with luxury fashion consumers.
- Create, curate, and manage visually stunning and compelling content (photos, videos, stories, captions) that reflects the brand’s identity across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube and emerging platforms.
- Edit innovative and creative social first video content that captures and engages an audience for organic and paid socials.
- Create TikToks regularly of the product and of the team.
- Collaborate with the Head of Growth and Digital Ad Strategist to create ad campaigns weekly for Meta, Google, Pinterest and TikTok platforms.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule, ensuring all content aligns with product launches, promotions, and brand storytelling.
2. Community Engagement:
- Identify and nurture relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and key opinion leaders within the luxury and fashion sectors to boost brand awareness and collaboration opportunities.
- Respond and engage with all comments in posts in a friendly brand appropriate manner, enhancing the brand’s relationship with its audience.
3. Analytics & Reporting:
- Monitor, track, and analyse the performance of social media campaigns. Provide regular reports on key metrics (engagement, reach, growth, traffic, etc.) and present insights to the team, suggesting data-driven optimisations for future campaigns.
- Stay updated on social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to ensure the brand remains at the forefront of digital innovation.
4. Brand Voice & Aesthetic:
- Ensure all social media content adheres to the brand’s tone of voice, luxury positioning, and visual aesthetic.
5. Campaign Management:
- Assist in planning and executing seasonal campaigns, product launches, and special events across social media platforms, working alongside marketing and PR teams.
- Leverage paid social media strategies (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.) to amplify reach and drive engagement with target audiences, managing budgets and optimising spend.
6. Trend Analysis & Competitor Monitoring:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in social media algorithms
- Conduct regular benchmarking of competitors and luxury brands to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
- Adapting strategies as necessary to keep the brand competitive.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Fashion, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in social media management, preferably within the luxury or fashion industry.
- Strong understanding of the luxury fashion market, digital marketing trends, and consumer behaviour.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms.
- Exceptional editing skills for all video content.
- Great writing and visual storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
- A very very strong passion for fashion, trends, and luxury lifestyle, with the ability to translate this into engaging content.
- Creative thinking with the ability to adapt to the fast-paced nature of social media and stay ahead of trends.
- Experience working with influencers and managing collaborations.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of paid social media advertising and SEO is a plus.
