Salary: From £32,000 per year About the Role We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electronic Fire & Security Service Engineer to join our growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding, and repairing a wide range of electronic security and fire alarm systems.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with the latest technologies while delivering high-quality service to commercial clients across Reading and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities Service, maintain, diagnose faults, and repair electronic security and fire detection systems.

Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure systems operate effectively.

Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system documentation to configure, repair, and modify installations.

Complete accurate service reports and maintenance records to meet compliance and quality standards.

Keep up to date with industry standards (including NSI, FIA, and BSI) and emerging technologies.

Deliver excellent customer service while working independently and managing your workload effectively.

Essential Requirements Minimum of 5 years' experience in electronic security service and maintenance (fire alarm experience is desirable but not essential).

Strong knowledge of CCTV, Intruder Alarm, and Access Control systems.

Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.

Full UK Driving Licence.

Ability to work independently and prioritise workload.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Good understanding of current industry standards.

Desirable Skills & Qualifications Experience with systems from manufacturers such as Hikvision, Paxton, Texecom, Galaxy, Advanced, or similar.

Knowledge of IP networking and integrated security systems.

IPAF, PASMA, or other relevant certifications.

FIA, ECS, or other industry-recognised qualifications.
