Our client is looking for a friendly and professional Front of House Member to join their team on a part-time, temporary ongoing basis, with the potential to become permanent. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be the first point of contact for customers while also supporting the day-to-day running of the kitchen/reception area.
Duties include:
- Welcoming visitors
- Managing bookings
- Preparing and serving breakfasts
- Delivering food to customers
- Providing excellent customer service throughout their visit
Responsibilities:
- Prepare/serve breakfasts and light refreshments to customers.
- Deliver food and drinks promptly while providing excellent table service.
- Welcome customers and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage the reception area and act as the first point of contact for enquiries.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct them to the appropriate department.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation across the reception and dining areas.
- Handle customer bookings and update booking systems accurately.
- Respond to customer enquiries via telephone, email and in person.
- Maintain a tidy and organised reception area.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing, reception or front of house role.
- Experience preparing and serving food is desirable.
- A willingness to be hands-on.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Confidence handling telephone enquiries and managing multiple tasks.
- Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office.
- A positive, reliable and team-focused attitude.
