Excellent opportunity for a part-qualified Accountant looking for the next step up to Finance Manager and seeking an opportunity to learn and progress with a law firm in the City. Hybrid working, 2 days in the office.

Reporting to the Finance Director and working alongside the Legal Cashier, Billing and Credit Control Coordinators, and Finance Practice Management Assistant, this role is varied and includes:

  • Management accounting
  • Budgeting, forecasting and reporting
  • Banking, cash management and credit control
  • Billing and WIP

You will be liaising with the Partners, external payroll providers, responding to finance and payroll queries and standing in for the FD in her absence. Experience in a law firm is preferred although not essential. However, you will need to have experience in a professional services firm such as accountancy or surveyors, for example.
