The role of National Fleet Sales Manager is to operate a structured Fleet sales strategy by widening our customer base through incremental Fleet Channels, ultimately to maximize our sales of electrified vehicles, Pick-Up trucks and Car-Derived Commercial vehicles. The role will involve a broad range of responsibilities, including the setting up of a supply process, customer terms agreements, brand and product introductions to a range of customers, internal reporting and ultimately delivery of the Fleet Sales Plan in terms of registration and profit contribution.
- Generate and maintain relationships with key fleet customers.
- Work with our partner Drivalia to provide a compelling Contract Hire Offering for our dealer partners.
- Develop an activity plan to enter KGM product into a wide range of Company Car Choice List and Salary Sacrifice Schemes.
- Maintain relationships with key industry data providers, providing data, product information and promotion, carrying out regular reviews of future value performances.
- Work closely with the DCM team to ensure supply of Fleet sales is carried out via the most local dealer wherever possible.
- Represent the KGM brand at all Fleet relevant events and trade shows.
- Deliver the Fleet sales plan monthly.
- Present Fleet opportunities, considering benefits, risks and profitability for the company.
- Operate a robust administrative process to support the efficient supply, invoicing and payment of Fleet supplied vehicles.
- Manage the return/inspection process of used vehicle inventory at Portbury to support the sale of used KGM Vehicles.
- Ad hoc duties as required – willingness to assist other team members during busy periods.
Work Experience Requirements:
- Previous Fleet sales experience.
- Experience in selling double cab pick ups and car derived commercial vehicles.
- A minimum of 6 GCSEs at C/4 and above (including Math and English).
- Graduate standard qualification, ideally relating to Business Management.
- Computer literacy, in particular Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to clearly demonstrate your ability to generate impressive results by increasing performance, profitability, and operating efficiency.
Training:
- Full in-house systems training will be given.
- External training courses provided, where appropriate.
- Further training and development opportunities may be available.
