The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.
Role Purpose: Take ownership and accountability for all finishing operations and resources to ensure production schedule is adhered to and efficiently achieved.
Role Accountabilities:
- Print Finishing
- Laminating various types of prints with seals & glues using laminating machines
- General print finishing duties – hand finishing
- Zund experience would be beneficial
- Unloading / Loading of material
- Reductions of waste by identifying cause
- Working with Supervisor in identifying and eradicating costs where possible
- Regular stocktakes
- Ensure time, materials and usages are recorded accurately (including any re-prints)
- Be responsible for communicating internally providing updates on any outstanding issues via daily production meeting with Supervisor
- Adhering to Health and Safety, Environmental policies and procedures
- Focused on quality and customer satisfaction
- Helping with deliveries
People / Team Leadership: This role has no direct reports.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Must have excellent understanding of Large Format Print Finishing Processes
- Mounting/Laminating/Finishing experience
- Zund experience would be beneficial
- Excellent team player and work ethic
- Flexible attitude to overtime
- Working with Courage & Integrity
- Ability to work on own initiative
Special Conditions and Working Arrangements: Flexible approach to working hours although these will primarily be 9am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
