Are you a technical powerhouse in WW fashion with a passion for precision, product integrity, and innovation?
We're searching for a innovative Garment Technologist to join a refined and design-led womenswear brand known for its impeccable craftsmanship and premium collections. This is a pivotal role for a detail-obsessed expert with a deep understanding of construction, fit, and quality — and a collaborative mindset to work hand-in-hand with Development, Design, and Production.
🎯 The Ideal Candidate:
You bring 4+ years' experience in Luxury, Premium or Highstreet RTW womenswear, across multiple categories ( softs, separates, dresses, trousers ect) . You're deeply fluent in garment construction, fitting, sizing, and grading and just as confident overseeing a critical path with an atelier team. You're solutions-driven, calm under pressure, and thrive in dynamic environments.
You know your way around CMT and fully factored production, UK and offshore manufacturers, and are ready to lead across both the creative and technical lifecycle of every style.
🧩 What You’ll Own:
GARMENT TECH & FIT
- Own technical lifecycle from proto through to production delivery
- Create and manage tech packs, fit specs, and grading documentation
- Lead fit sessions, advise on finishing methods and construction
- Troubleshoot issues at pattern/factory level
ATELIER MANAGEMENT
- Oversee in-house Atelier team schedules, model fittings, and seam innovation launches
- Manage pattern block archive and coordinate with Design on seasonal updates
SUPPLIER & QC
- Daily factory liaison — UK and overseas — to uphold fit and quality standards
- Issue clear manufacturing comments and ensure they're understood and implemented
- Conduct QC checks and seasonal factory visits within travel budget
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL SUPPORT
- Keep Design, E-commerce, and Sales in the loop on production vs sample updates
- Ensure sample labelling, Press splits, and seasonal handovers are accurate and timely
- Work closely with the Product Development Manager to streamline workflows and maintain margin awareness
💻 Tech & Tools:
- Excel, Outlook, Word
- Zedonk (PLM) – a plus
- Expert communicator, organised, analytical, and always solution-first
