Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, child-centred care in a residential setting
- Safeguard and promote the welfare, safety, and emotional well-being of each child
- Implement and follow individualised care plans and behaviour support strategies
- Build positive, trusting relationships through consistent, empathetic, and clear communication
- Support children with daily routines, education, activities, and life skills development
- Assist with transportation to school, appointments, and community activities
- Maintain accurate and timely records, reports, and documentation
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, managers, families, and external professionals
Essential Requirements
- Right to Work in the UK (we are unable to offer visa sponsorship – Indefinite Leave to Remain required)
- Full manual UK driving licence
- Aged 25 or over (to meet insurance requirements)
- Held a driving licence for at least 2 years
- 6 points or fewer on licence
- Willingness to work shifts and sleep-ins
- Ability to complete a robust safer recruitment process, including enhanced DBS and references
