We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Development Finance Broker to join our clients dynamic team. This role blends broking responsibilities with operational oversight, offering the opportunity to work on complex funding transactions while contributing to the strategic growth and efficiency of the business. Our client is a specialist development finance brokerage working with property developers across residential, commercial, and mixed use projects.
About the Role
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in development finance or a similar broking/lending role.
- Source, structure, and secure senior debt, mezzanine, and JV equity for development projects (£1m-£50m+).
- Manage transactions end to end: feasibility, due diligence, funding strategy, and completion.
- Build strong relationships with developers, lenders, and industry professionals.
- Deep understanding of lender criteria, deal structuring, and property development cycles.
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal systems and workflows.
- Support and mentor junior brokers and support staff, including training and quality control.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal procedures, including AML and KYC checks.
- Contribute to strategic planning, reporting, and operational improvements.
- Assist in maintaining lender panels and CRM/database management.
Skills and experience:
- 2+ years’ experience in development finance or a related broking/lending role.
- Strong lender relationships and proven ability to structure complex deals.
- A commercial mindset and passion for delivering client results.
- Leadership capability, with a knack for improving systems and mentoring others.
- CRM, workflow, or operational system experience (HubSpot, Monday.com, etc.).
