We are proud to be working with an incredibly reputable, growing lender that specialises in bridging and development finance, as they enter their next phase of growth.
We are actively seeking a proven Head of Credit/ Head of Underwriting/ Chief Lending Officer type, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the bridging and development finance space.
This position is a senior strategic role. You will be at the helm of the business, managing a team of credit professionals, including an Underwriting Manager and a few Underwriters. You will be driving forward the lending function, ensuring that SLAs are met. It is vital that you can see a deal from a credit AND asset perspective.
You will have lived through the ups and down\’s of the property finance space, and will be able to look at a complex loan from a legal perspective, really understanding the nuts and bolts of each case on it\’s individual merits.
You will be technology-savvy, with proven experience of looking at streamlining processes to ensure a seamless rhythm is maintained within the lending team. You will lead by example, with a dynamic and passionate work ethic, that builds comradery.
It is vital that you have a strong knowledge of all aspects of bridging and development products, preferably on a non-reg basic, including ground floor up, light and heavy refurb and commercial and residential property.
