We're looking for a high calibre Originator to join a family office/boutique lender that has been established for more than 50 years. You will have a great understanding of the bridging, development, and commercial sector (non-reg) and will be able to discuss a deal quite technically.
Our client is the type of company that only does deals they know will work. They are an ethical lender with a great reputation, liaising mostly directly with property developers as opposed to brokers. They currently are looking for somebody with a transferable portfolio of property developers with upcoming projects that they need finance for.
The Originator will be able to arrange the right deal for the client, liaising closely with the Head of Lending and using your experience of the market to assess the risk involved. Loans up to £50 million with fast decisions and results.
This is not a role where you are saying yes to all requests for finance, regardless of whether it defaults. This is a role where you are paid handsomely for making the right choices on behalf of a long-established organisation.
It is useful that the candidate has their own high-end property developer contacts, as our client rarely deals with intermediaries. They have the funds to say yes; however, they need the clients. You should be based in the South of England with connections in the South as this is a local business dealing with local property developers/projects.
