KFM is looking for an Endoscopy Decontamination Technician to join our dedicated team. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring our endoscopy equipment is meticulously cleaned, disinfected, and ready for clinical use.
This Role Includes:
- Reprocessing flexible endoscopes to national standards
- Recording all activity in the track-and-trace system
- Operating specialised equipment safely and effectively
- Maintaining a safe, hygienic, and compliant environment
- Participating in collections/deliveries across KFM sites (including driving duties at the Vanguard Unit)
What We’re Looking For:
- GCSEs (Grade C / Level 4) in Maths and English, or Functional Skills Level 2
- Team player with strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow SOPs and maintain high standards under pressure
- Basic computer and typing skills
- Effective verbal and written communication
- NVQ3 or equivalent in Decontamination
- Experience in a healthcare or decontamination setting
- Knowledge of infection control, COSHH, and health & safety procedures
