We're currently recruiting for a friendly and reliable Retail Assistant to join a well-established independent retailer in Hull.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
You’ll become the welcoming face of the business, supporting a loyal customer base and helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the shop.
What you'll be doing: Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Operating the till and handling cash and card payments.
Replenishing stock and maintaining attractive product displays.
Keeping the shop clean, tidy and well presented.
Answering customer queries and providing product information.
Assisting with deliveries and stock management.
Providing holiday cover when required.
The ideal candidate will have: Previous retail or customer service experience (preferred but not essential).
A friendly, approachable and positive attitude.
Excellent communication skills with a good standard of spoken English.
Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic.
The ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
