Location: Hull

Shift: Monday to Friday, 14:00 – 22:00 flexibility to start at 13:00 when required

Pay: £14.50 – £15.50 per hour (depending on experience) + overtime paid at 1.5x

Job Type: Full-time – Temporary to Permanent or Permanent for the right candidate

The Role

We are currently recruiting for a hands-on and proactive Production Supervisor to join a fast-paced food factory environment. This position will support the Shift Manager and play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across production and packing areas. There is opportunity to step up into a more senior role when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise, and supervise daily production activities to meet targets
  • Lead and manage a small team of operatives
  • Set up and monitor production lines to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance
  • Work closely with internal departments such as Technical, Engineering, and Logistics
  • Monitor performance and resolve issues quickly to minimise downtime
  • Reduce waste and improve operational efficiency
  • Ensure all production records and documentation are completed accurately
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and Health & Safety
  • Support training and development of team members
  • Communicate effectively during shift handovers
