We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative to join a friendly and well-established plastic manufacturing factory based in the HU7 area. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate, offering stability and the chance to develop new skills within a clean, non-food environment.
Shift Pattern:
- 4 on / 4 off shift rotation
- 12-hour shifts
- 1 hour break per shift (can be taken as 3 x 20-minute breaks)
- 6pm-6am OR 6am-6pm (NOT Rotating)
Pay Rate:
- £13.31- £13.49 (Days)
- £14.29- £14.49 (Nights)
Key Responsibilities:
- Sorting and handling boxes of plastic caps
- Completing basic paperwork accurately
- General manual handling duties
- Learning to set up and operate machinery
About You:
- Reliable and hardworking
- Willing to learn and develop new skills
- Comfortable with manual handling tasks
- Able to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating pattern
- Can work ongoing Night or Day shifts
