KFM are now recruiting a process operator for a well-established family business based in the Gilberdyke area. We are looking for an experienced operative with a valid forklift licence; this role can lead to permanent employment for the right candidate!

Benefits:

  • £12.71 per hour + Holiday pay (£14.38 after training)
  • Ongoing work with potential for long-term opportunities

  • Overtime opportunity (1.5x pay)
  • Day shift (06:00 - 18:00)

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading
  • Running machinery
  • Operating a counterbalance forklift truck to move stock and pallets
  • Conducting pre-use checks on equipment to ensure compliance with H&S standards
  • Continental shift (Mon/Tues/Wed/Sat/Sunday & Thurs/Friday)

Requirements:

  • Valid Forklift Counterbalance Licence (in-date and RTITB/ITSSAR accredited)
  • Previous experience in a similar role within production or machinery
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to health & safety
