On behalf of our client based in Hull we’re seeking an experienced Fabrication Estimator.

As the Fabrication Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for fabrication projects, collaborating closely with project managers and engineers to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates for fabrication projects based on drawings and specifications.
  • Analyse project requirements and determine materials, labour, and equipment needed.
  • Work closely with project managers and engineers to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Review and interpret technical documents to accurately estimate project costs.
  • Identify cost‑saving opportunities and suggest value engineering alternatives.
  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate estimates to clients.
  • Participate in bid reviews and negotiations with clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all estimates.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Fabrication Estimator or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
