We are looking for an experienced Health Safety Officer to take ownership of all H&S activity across multiple manufacturing sites. This is a great opportunity for someone who is proactive, people-focused, and passionate about creating a positive safety culture. You will act as the company’s Competent Person, working closely with external consultants to ensure compliance, drive continuous improvement, and help move towards a zero-harm workplace.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead all internal health and safety matters across multiple sites.
- Conduct and review risk assessments, COSHH documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and ensure full RIDDOR compliance.
- Deliver health and safety training, inductions, and toolbox talks.
- Oversee contractor safety, PPE management, and compliance reporting.
- Promote continuous improvement and best practice in workplace safety.
- NEBOSH qualified (or equivalent).
- At least 6 years experience in a manufacturing H&S role.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A confident, hands-on approach with a focus on collaboration and problem solving.
